In 1929, 100 local auto owners summoned to court

The Courier Journal reported in its March 13, 1929, edition that 100 automobile owners who failed to get a 1929 license were summoned to appear in Warren County or Bowling Green City court.

Members of the state tax commission office, with the cooperation of Bowling Green police and Warren County officers, summoned the violators to court. The minimum fine of $10 and costs was assessed.
