Saturday’s game between the Bowling Green Hot Rods and Fort Wayne TinCaps was suspended in the top of the fourth inning due to rain with the TinCaps leading 3-0.
Fort Wayne had just taken the lead on a three-run homer by Michael Curry when the umpires opted to delay the game due to rain. After about an hour rain delay, the decision was made to suspend the game until Sunday.
Saturday’s game is scheduled to resume at 12:30 p.m. with the regularly scheduled game – a seven-inning contest – to begin after the suspended game is completed.
