The Rebels continued to make plays in singles. WKU junior Lucia Diaz Saez played a strong match at the No. 2 spot, but ultimately fell 6-2, 6-0 to Anna Vrbenska. Freshman Kyla Dilger was defeated by the Rebels’ Allie Sanford 6-0, 6-0 at the No. 5 spot. WKU forfeited the sixth spot and Ole Miss won the match.

At the time of the Rebel victory, sophomore Laura Bernardos was ahead in her match at the No. 1 singles spot, 6-3, 3-0. Gonzalez Agud and Charles-Hall were each in their second set.

In the second match of the day, both teams elected to play singles only. Ole Miss claimed the second, fourth and fifth singles spots. WKU was defeated in the final singles spot by default and the Rebels won the match, sweeping the doubleheader.

Like the first match, Bernardos was ahead in her singles match with one set win under her belt. Gonzalez Agud had not finished her singles match at the time Ole Miss clinched its second victory of the day.

The final regular-season match for WKU (3-15, 0-3 Conference USA) is scheduled Friday at Conference USA foe Middle Tennessee.
