Dylan Taylor of Miami, Fla., the son of Gary and Sue Taylor of Bowling Green, was promoted to the rank of commander in the U.S. Navy Reserve.

He recently returned from deployment in Kuwait as supply corps officer with Combined Joint Task Force Operations. He is a 2002 graduate of Western Kentucky University’s business department.
