Greenwood High School has announced the school’s 2019 Athletic Hall of Fame class.

The 2019 class will be honored during a program Feb. 8 in the Greenwood library at 5:30 p.m. The honorees will be introduced at the girls’/boys’ home basketball doubleheader against Warren Central.

The 2019 inductees include Matt Lyons (basketball/track and field, 1992-96), Brian Marr (cross country/track and field, 1996-2000) and Kathy (Church) Phelps (softball, 2000-03).

Greenwood’s 2004 boys’ soccer state runner-up team will also be inducted as part of the 2019 class. The Gators were coached by Sean Helliwell and assistants J.R. Vance and Wade Yeoman. Team members included Tim Shaw, Dylan Proctor, Mirnes Hasonovic, Chris Austin, Wes Wray, Alex Holmes, Nick Vogler, Travis Russell, Matt Gibson, Dustin Masden, Jordan Gass, Collin Steiner, Zach Robertson, Blake Pruett, Eric Belt, Sean Spencer, Edenilsen Lovox, Mark Lacy, Justin Reed, Hector Gaspar, J.W. Brown, Adam Billingsley, Brian Holms and Ryan Maine.
