ELPO’s English to serve in ABA leadership role

Charles E. “Buzz” English Jr., a partner with the Bowling Green law firm English Lucas Priest & Owsley, has been elected to a three-year term on the American Bar Association Board of Governors. English, a 1983 graduate of the University of Kentucky School of Law, has been practicing law for 35 years.
English, a past president of the Kentucky Bar Association, served previously on the ABA’s Standing Committee on the Federal Judiciary. This committee is charged with evaluating all proposed federal judicial nominees to Article III positions across the United States.
One of 28 attorneys at ELPO, English earned the Outstanding Young Lawyer in Kentucky award in 1991 and the Gwyneth B. Davis Outstanding Public Service Award from the Bowling Green-Warren County Bar Association in 1989.
