South Warren girls roll to 10-0 home win

South Warren’s girls’ soccer team closed its regular season Tuesday with a 10-0 win Tuesday over visiting Owensboro.
Laura Hasani and Sofia Hasani each netted hat tricks by scoring three goals and adding two assists apiece for the Spartans.
Lilly Degenhart, Campbell Mattingly and Kinsey Nelson each tallied a goal and an assist, Haley McGee added a goal and Augustina Pinella tallied an assist for South Warren (9-7).
Goalkeeper Amy Thomas recorded the shutout for the Spartans, who return to action next week in the District 14 tournament against Greenwood. Game date and time have not been announced.

Greenwood wrapped up its regular season with a 5-0 win Tuesday at Owensboro Catholic.
Anna Haddock led the Lady Gators with two goals and two assists.
Hallie Adams, Alyson Kaelin and Alexa Ketchem each added goals and Maddy McCorkle and Autumn Wiles chipped in with assists.
Goalkeeper Elizabeth DeMarse recorded the shutout for Greenwood (12-1-3), which returns to action next week in the District 14 tournament semifinals against South Warren.

Adelisa Becirovic finished with two goals and an assist as host Warren Central earned a 3-0 girls’ soccer win Tuesday over Trigg County.
Beatrice Malenga added a goal and an assist, and Kelsey Lazo chipped in an assist for the Lady Dragons.
Goalkeeper Eriona Shabani had two saves to earn the shutout for the Lady Dragons.
Warren Central (15-3-1) closes the regular season Thursday at Louisville Holy Cross.
