Hot Rods sweep West Michigan

The Bowling Green Hot Rods completed a four-game sweep with a 5-3 win at West Michigan on Sunday.
It was the first four-game series sweep of the season for Bowling Green (54-26 overall, 7-4 second half), which improved to 4-3 on the current nine-game road trip.
Vidal Brujan and Emilio Gustave had two hits each, while Taylor Walls drove in two runs.
Resly Linares earned the win to improve to 2-2 on the season, allowing two runs and four hits with a career-high 10 strikeouts.
Jhonleider Salinas worked a scoreless ninth to earn his third save of the season.
The Hot Rods will play in South Bend (Ind.) at 6:35 p.m. CDT on Monday.
