Sam Dralle

Former Greenwood High School standout Sam Dralle picked up first-team all-conference baseball honors Thursday.

Dralle, a 2015 Greenwood graduate and a junior at Cairn (Pa.) University, earned Colonial States Athletic Conference first-team honors as a relief pitcher. In 14 appearances (two starts) spanning 41 1/3 innings, Dralle compiled a 4-2 record with two saves and a 3.05 ERA. The right-hander tallied 35 strikeouts.

Cairn (20-14), an NCAA Division III program, missed the CSAC playoffs as the fifth seed. The league’s top four teams advanced to the playoffs.{&end}
