Bowling Green-based Service One Credit Union has made the 2018 list of the top 200 healthiest credit unions in America. Service One ranked 31st on the list put together by DepositAccounts.com, a subsidiary of LendingTree.

No other Kentucky credit union cracked the top 100.

DepositAccounts.com evaluates the financial health of more than 11,000 banks and credit unions in the United States each quarter. To determine bank ranking and recognition, the company grades each institution on such factors as capitalization, deposit growth and loan-to-reserve ratio.

Service One was organized in 1963 in Bowling Green as a not-for-profit financial cooperative and serves those who live or work in southcentral Kentucky.
