Hayes had a record of 16-3 in 19 starts with the Colonels and holds school records for most passing yards in a season, most touchdowns in a season (a feat accomplished in each of the last two seasons), most passing yards in a game and most touchdown passes in a game.
Off the field, along with his outstanding achievement in the classroom, Hayes has been an excellent leader in the Danville community, serving with the Centre football team at Camp Horsin’ Around every August, the week before the start of classes.
Hayes has also helped serve his community through the various opportunities provided by Brown Fellows Program, of which he is a member.{&end}
