A total of 140 Western Kentucky student-athlete’s earned Commissioner’s Honor Roll recognition from Conference USA for maintaining a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better during the 2017-18 academic year, the league announced Thursday.

A total of 2,824 student-athletes across C-USA received the recognition, and student-athletes with a cumulative GPA of 3.75 or better will also receive the Commissioner’s Academic Medal. Those recipients will be announced Friday.

Over the past calendar year, 100 WKU student-athletes received their diploma from the university, with 46 graduating in May 2017, 18 completing their degrees in the summer and 35 receiving their degrees this past December. The cumulative GPA of the 100 graduates was 3.06.
