Warren Rural Electric Cooperative Corp. was recognized for 80 years of service during the Tennessee Valley Authority reception at the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association’s annual meeting in Nashville on Feb. 27.

WRECC provides electricity in an eight-county territory.

In 2017, WRECC was named a top performer in TVA’s New Homes Program. Incentives offered through the New Homes Program help builders purchase technologies that provide efficiency, effectiveness and longevity.

Thanks to growth in southcentral Kentucky in recent years, WRECC has been ranked 10th out of 154 local providers in the TVA region for energy sales over the last two fiscal years.
