Ervin Sorrell, branch manager for the South Green Street U.S. Bank location in Glasgow, has been named to the T.J. Samson Community Hospital board of directors.

Sorrell, a Bowling Green native who has been with U.S. Bank for 13 years, earned a degree in computer information systems at Western Kentucky University in 1994. He began working in the Glasgow area when he took a management position with Winn-Dixie in 1994.

Sorrell is a 1988 graduate of Warren East High School.
