The 34th annual Governor’s Safety and Health Conference will be May 7-11 at Sloan Convention Center in Bowling Green. The Kentucky Labor Cabinet and Kentucky Health and Safety Network Inc. co-host the event.

The conference brings together occupational safety and health professionals from the fields of business, labor, education and government. It is the largest gathering of occupational safety and health professionals in the state. Its purpose is to raise awareness and promote safety and health in the workplace.

The conference also recognizes outstanding performance in the area of safety and health through the Governor’s Safety and Health Award. At last year’s conference, 48 companies were recognized for earning the award.
