Justice Dingle, LB, Georgia Tech – Dingle signed his national letter of intent during the early signing period in December. The 6-foot-3, 245-pound linebacker played two years for the Purples after his family moved from Murfreesboro, Tenn. He was a two-time All-State linebacker and rated a 3-star prospect by 247sports and a 4-star recruit by Rivals. He had 87 solo tackles, two sacks and a pair of interceptions in 2017.

Ziyon Kenner, WR, Austin Peay – Kenner signed his NLI during the early signing period in December. Kenner, the Class 5A, District 1 Kentucky Football Coaches Association Player of the Year, was a threat last season as a receiver and returner. He capped the year with 801 receiving yards, 273 rushing yards, eight kickoff returns for 303 yards, eight punt returns for 269 yards and 18 total touchdowns. Kenner came to Bowling Green as a junior after transferring from Christian County. He’ll be reunited with former Purples receiver Deangelo Wilson on Austin Peay’s roster.

Devan Jackson, DE, Lindsey Wilson – Jackson led the Purples with eight sacks in 2017. The 6-foot-2, 198-pound outside linebacker recorded 92 tackles, 70 solo, recovered four fumbles and returned one for a touchdown.

Jaden Harris, S, Lindsey Wilson – The 5-9, 176-pound defensive back had 20 tackles and an interception in 2017.

Girls’ Soccer

Bailey Cross, goalkeeper, University of Illinois-Springfield – Cross was an All-State honorable mention goalkeeper for the Lady Purples last season. Cross only allowed 19 goals through 20 games and had seven shutouts.

Warren East

Football

Trebor Bunton, LB, Campbellsville – Bunton recorded 73 tackles and a fumble recovery last season for the Raiders.

Franklin-Simpson

Football

Saul Brady, RB, Campbellsville – Rushed for 1,126 yards and 11 touchdowns in leading the Wildcats to a Class 4A state title. Brady finished his Franklin-Simpson career as the school’s all-time leading rusher with 3,927 rushing yards and 47 touchdowns. Defensively, he led the team with three interceptions and 46 tackles.

Dion Pearson, DT, Campbellsville – An All-State honorable mention for 2017, Pearson anchored the defensive line for the Wildcats’ championship run. He finished the year with 80 tackles, 56 solo, and a fumble recovery.

Cain Newland, RB/S, Campbellsville – Recorded 53 tackles as a safety and had two rushes for 65 yards and a touchdown.

Steven Starks, G/DE, Georgetown – Had 60 tackles and a fumble recovery. As a guard, helped pave the way for a trio of 1,000-yard rushers.

Allen County-Scottsville

Football

Chase Wilson, QB, Kentucky Wesleyan – Wilson holds every passing record at ACS. Wilson completed 156-of-275 pass attempts for 2,667 yards and 32 touchdowns last season for the Patriots.

Steven Whitney, G/DE, Campbellsville – Recorded 105 tackles, 81 solo, with three fumble recoveries and an interception last season.

Glasgow

Football

Dalvin Smith, QB/WR/S, Western Kentucky – Smith will sign Thursday and grayshirt at WKU. Smith came back his senior season after missing the last two years with a knee injury. He threw for 916 yards and 13 touchdowns while rushing for 433 yards and six scores as a dual-threat QB. He moved to wide receiver in the middle of the season and had 16 receptions for 400 yards and seven touchdowns. Defensively, he had three interceptions and recorded 22 stops.
