The Western Kentucky University Small Business Development Center will hold a workshop called “Business Basics” on Jan. 23 at the WKU Center for Research and Development on Nashville Road.

The free workshop, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., is geared toward people wanting to start a small business. It will cover such topics as feasibility, legal structure, licensing and permitting.
