The wedding of Crysta Hicks and Matthew Smith was performed by Rev. David Gifford at 2 p.m. Sept. 16, 2017, at Calvary Baptist Church in Bowling Green.

The bride is the daughter of Jim and Linda Hicks of Dawson Springs. The groom is the son of Mitchell and Amy Smith of Bowling Green. The bride wore a satin A-line sheath gown featuring a beaded illusion neckline and cap sleeves with a pearl and crystal beaded sash.

Nikki Hicks, sister of the bride, was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Meagan Smith, sister of the groom, Abby Davenport, cousin of the groom, and Kayla Goodaker and Starla Cummings, both friends of the bride.

Mitchell Smith, father of the groom, was the best man. Groomsmen were David Hutchinson, Nathan Hutchinson, Brian King and Joe Asposito, all friends of the groom.

The flower girl was Josie Schiff, cousin of the groom. The ring bearer was Riley Schiff, cousin of the groom.

Ushers were Jayden Marcum, friend of both bride and groom, Chandler Wilson, cousin of the groom, and Carson Schiff, cousin of the groom.

Following a honeymoon trip to the Opryland Hotel and a Western Caribbean Cruise, the couple resides in Bowling Green.
