The South Central Workforce Development Board has added four new affiliate sites as the board tries to expand its presence throughout the 10-county region.

The Allen County Public Library in Scottsville, the Barren County Adult Education office in Glasgow, the Warren County Adult Education office on the Southcentral Kentucky Community and Technical College campus in Bowling Green and the Simpson County Adult Education office on Franklin’s SKYCTC campus have all been added as affiliate sites.

As partner affiliate sites, they will offer computer access for job searches, provide job announcement releases for the region, occasionally host job preparation workshops and provide limited assistance for resume writing.

The workforce board’s role is to connect job seekers and employers to enhance the regional labor pool of south central Kentucky and develop a talented and skilled workforce. Among the services the board provides are job search and announcement listings, industry training information and assistance, career resources and job attainment workshops.
