Wilkins–Kilgus

The marriage ceremony of Anna Loy Wilkins and Brandon Paul Kilgus was officiated by Bro. George “Buddy” Crabtree at 4:30 p.m. Oct. 7, 2017, at the Historic McCutchen Meadows House in Auburn.

The bride is the daughter of Mark and Jane Wilkins of Russellville. She is a 2011 graduate of Logan County High School and a 2015 graduate of Western Kentucky University. The groom is the son of Lisa Kilgus and Paul Kilgus of Bowling Green. He is a 2008 graduate of Bowling Green High School and a 2013 graduate of the University of Kentucky.

The bride wore a tulle, long-sleeve ball gown designed by Hayley Paige, featuring a floral beaded and embroidered bodice with illusion bateau neckline and low open back, and a cascading tiered skirt with horsehair trim. She carried a bouquet of white hydrangeas, garden roses, spray roses and magnolia leaves.

Kelly Miller was maid of honor. Bridesmaids included Brooklyn Kilgus, Claire Hopkins, Whitney Rager, Kayla Trickel, Elizabeth Lansden, Sarah France and Stephanie Etienne. Flower girl was Sadie James Wright, cousin of the bride.

Tyler Kilgus, brother of the groom, was best man. Groomsmen were Adam Wilkins, John Hughes, Austin Beard, Christian Kafoglis, Matt VanMeter, Michael Kelly and Miller DeWeese. Ushers included Nathan Williams, Zach Williams and Andy Littlefield. Ring bearer was Luke Wiles, cousin of the bride.

Dinner and dancing took place after the ceremony in a white-tented reception on the property grounds.

Following a honeymoon to Maui, the couple resides in Bowling Green.
