Sivley named to Juvenile Justice Council

Gov. Matt Bevin appointed Dr. John O. Sivley of Bowling Green, a clinical social worker, to the Kentucky Juvenile Justice Oversight Council. His term will expire Aug. 1.
Sivley will represent community-based organizations with experience in programs for juveniles, including substance abuse prevention and treatment, case management, mental health or counseling.
The council provides independent reviews of the state juvenile justice system and recommendations to the General Assembly.
