Hot Rods name Ingram as new assistant general manager

The Bowling Green Hot Rods announced Tuesday that Matt Ingram, an alumnus of Western Kentucky University, will be rejoining the team’s front office as assistant general manager.
Ingram had been with the Hot Rods for four seasons before leaving in April 2016 to join the Cincinnati Bengals as senior account executive and team lead of group sales.

“We are tremendously excited to have Matt back as part of the Hot Rods family,” Hot Rods General Manager Eric C. Leach said in a news release. “Matt brings a tremendous amount of knowledge, energy and passion to our staff.”
Ingram is a native of Bowling Green and graduated from Bowling Green High School. He started out his career with the Hot Rods as an intern and quickly rose through the ranks to the role of director of sales prior to his departure for the NFL.
“I am grateful for the opportunity to return to the Hot Rods and thankful to Eric and his team for welcoming me back with open arms,” Ingram said in a news release.
“I am thrilled to be back for the 10th season and eager to get back to work in Bowling Green.”
Ingram will be leading the corporate partnership department along with helping to bring promotions and entertainment to Bowling Green Ballpark.
The Hot Rods open their 10th season at home April 5 against the Dayton Dragons.
