Campbellsville junior Kylie Withrow (Barren County Class of 2015) fired a final-round 79 to earn All-American honors Wednesday at the NCCAA Women’s Golf Championship held at Hammock Beach Resort’s Conservatory Course in Palm Coast, Fla.

Withrow kept her scores in the 70s all three rounds to earn All-American status for the second straight season, finishing ninth overall in the tournament with a 20-over par 236 (79-78-79). The Tigers finished third in the team competition.

Campbellsville completed its fall season and will resume play in the spring.

Midway sophomore forward Timitryi Patterson (South Warren Class of 2016) tallied a double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Eagles to a season-opening 78-72 women’s basketball win over Michigan-Dearborn on Wednesday.

Patterson added three steals and three assists in the win.

Midway (1-0) is back in action Friday at Concordia (Mich.).
