Class of ’18 PG Gambrell commits to WKU

Western Kentucky’s men’s basketball program picked up its second Class of 2018 commitment Saturday.
Texas point guard Jeremiah Gambrell pledged to the Hilltoppers, Scout/247Sports’ Evan Daniels reported Saturday on Twitter.
Gambrell, a 6-foot guard from Madison High School in Houston, committed last summer to Baylor before decommitting from the Bears program this month.
Gambrell visited WKU for Hilltopper Hysteria on Friday. The rising senior scored 20 points per game last season for Madison.
Gambrell joins junior college forward Matthew Horton in coach Rick Stansbury’s Class of 2018.
