Mr. and Mrs. Roger Hughes will celebrate their 69th wedding anniversary Sept. 11, 2017.

Roger Hughes and the former Barbara Jean Hoofnel were married Sept. 11, 1948.

They have two children, R. Keith “Cowboy” Hughes and Kevin Allen Hughes, both of Bowling Green.
