Led by a pair of Lady Toppers with double-digit kills, Western Kentucky’s volleyball team swept its second straight match to beat Belmont 3-0 (25-16, 25-22, 25-19) on Tuesday in Nashville.

WKU improved to 6-2 on the season and 19-0 all-time against the Bruins.

Rachel Anderson led the Lady Tops with 11 kills, and Alyssa Cavanaugh added 10 kills.

Jessica Lucas paced WKU with 31 assists.

The Lady Tops return to action Friday for the two-day University Plaza Hotel Invitational. WKU opens with East Tennessee State at 11 a.m., then faces Pittsburgh at 7 p.m. On Saturday, the Lady Toppers will wrap up tournament play with a 5 p.m. match against Saint Louis.
