Bowling Green’s Eli Thurman shot a 2-over 74 to take the individual title at the Hancock Schoolboy Classic on Saturday at Windward Heights Country Club in Lewisport.

The Purples claimed the team title by 10 shots, finishing with a score of 314.

Thurman’s individual title was the second individual title this year for a BG golfer, with Saturday’s team victory the first of the season for the Purples.{&end}
