The Bowling Green Hot Rods capped off a four-game sweep of the South Bend Cubs with a 4-3 win Tuesday night at Four Winds Field in South Bend, Ind.

With the win, the Hot Rods clinched their first four-game series sweep on the road this year. Bowling Green has now won five straight games overall.

The Hot Rods are back at home Wednesday with the opening game of a three-game series at Bowling Green Ballpark against the Lansing (Mich.) Lugnuts.

Bowling Green will send righty JD Busfield to the mound.

First pitch is scheduled for 6:35 p.m.
