Sara Case, medical physicist with The Medical Center at Bowling Green Radiation Oncology Department, has passed her American Board of Radiology for Therapeutic Medical Physics certification exams. To become certified, candidates must complete a Commission on Accreditation of Medical Physics Education Programs-accredited graduate program and residency as well as pass three examinations.

She must maintain her ABR certification through continuing education credits, quality improvement projects and assessments over a period of time.

“Radiation therapy is a rapidly advancing field,” she said. “I will continue to learn and adapt in order to provide our patients the care they deserve.”
