NCM motorsports track noise still affects nearby residents

The motorsports track should be shut down for more than five years. The National Corvette Museum has been untruthful to the planning commission, the neighbors, the community and the court about the noise problem. We have been told that the noise level on our property is almost 20 times louder than normal.
My mother is 81 years old, suffers from diabetes and is confined to the house except for doctor appointments. When there is racing at the track, her blood sugar level can’t be controlled. After a weekend event, it takes about three days to get her blood sugar under control. All of this time, she is suffering miserably. Nobody can watch somebody suffer like this and say they want to be a good neighbor.

The museum has told us that our home, barn, rental property and saddle shop are all worthless.
When the museum tells us that everything we have to make a living is worthless, they are saying we are worthless too. We may not be a big man in the community like Wendell Strode is, but we are still people and we have rights. Anyone who would abuse someone like us is not a big man at all, he is a very small man.
The museum has ignored every promise they have made. The only thing they will understand is if the track is shut down until they fix their problems. They have said that if the track shuts down it would be devastating, but what would really be devastating would be if my mother ends up in a diabetic coma because of the noise.
How would you feel if this was your family?
