The Bowling Green East 9-and-10-year-old Little League All-Stars opened with a 14-1 win over Franklin-Simpson in the District 1 Tournament on Sunday at Kereiakes Park.

Matthew Escalera, Luke Idlett and Harrison Yates combined on a three-hitter for East.

Escalera had three hits and four RBIs, while Evan Schallert had three hits and two RBIs.

Warren County South 6, Logan County 2

Andrew Jolly had two hits and two RBIs, while Daniel Strain had two hits and two RBIs to lead South past Logan County.

Jameson Napper and Thomas Stallworth had an RBI each, while Brady Hester added two runs scored.

Sol Guyer allowed two hits with eight strikeouts over four innings, while Logan Talley allowed one hit with three strikeouts in two innings of work.

Adam Riley had two hits and two runs scored for Logan County.

11-and-12 All-Stars

Bowling Green East 18, Muhlenberg County 2

Jackson Kington and Davis Fant both homered as Bowling Green cruised to victory over Muhlenberg County.

10-and-11 All-Stars

Muhlenberg County 6, Warren County North 0

North was held to no hits and two base runners in a loss to Muhlenberg County.
