Tuesday’s opener of a three-game series between the Bowling Green Hot Rods and West Michigan Whitecaps was postponed because of inclement weather and unplayable field conditions.

The two teams will play a doubleheader Wednesday. It will be two seven-inning games starting at 4:35 p.m. The second game will start about a half-hour after the first game.

It will be the Hot Rods’ third doubleheader at Bowling Green Ballpark this season.

Gates will open at 4 p.m.
