Drake Duncan won a rain-shortened Paul Walker Memorial Tournament after heavy rains cancelled Sunday’s final round at Paul Walker Golf Course.
With the second round cancelled, the championship was determined from opening round scores, giving the first round leader the championship.
The South Warren and Middle Tennessee State University product fired a 6-under 64 on Saturday – four shots better than Warren East product Christian Tooley and last year’s champion Jared Brown.
The Paul Walker Memorial Tournament is the first of two of the city’s main summer municipal tournaments. The Pickens Amateur will take place June 24-25 at CrossWinds Golf Course.
