Western Kentucky senior Taylor Proctor and sophomore Kelsey McGuffin were named to the Conference USA Softball All-Tournament Team on Saturday.

Proctor claimed the lone catcher spot on the list, while McGuffin collected one of three outfield positions.

The pair of Hilltoppers went a combined 13-for-30 on the tournament at the plate, including an 8-for-11 combined effort in No. 8 seed WKU’s opening contest with fifth-seeded UAB.

McGuffin finished the tournament hitting .444 with Proctor not far behind at .417. Both players competed in all 38 innings of action over the three days of play.

McGuffin and Proctor join Miranda Kramer, Kathryn Downing and Carleigh Chaumont as Hilltoppers to earn C-USA All-Tournament Team honors.
