Logan County rallies past Gators for season-opening baseball win

Visiting Logan County used a seven-run rally in the fifth inning to surge past Greenwood en route to a 14-5 season-opening baseball win Thursday.
Logan County’s Nick Wooden was 2-for4 with a double and four RBIs, and Kaleb Justice added a 3-for-5 day with a double and two runs scored in the win.

Also for Logan County (1-0), Austin Rayno was 2-for-3 with a double, two runs scored and three RBIs. Dylan Penick added a double and two RBIs, and Jack Wright had two RBIs for the Cougars.
Logan County is back in action at 5:30 p.m. Friday at home against Hopkinsville. Greenwood (0-1) next plays at noon Saturday at home against Henderson County.
