A little over the halfway point of the season, the Lady Toppers enter the matchup with a 6-3 record. On the trip, WKU is set to travel over 4,400 miles over the next five days.

Santa Clara (2-4) comes into the match after losing to Fresno State, 6-1, last Saturday. The Lady Toppers and the Broncos have never met previously.

Coming off a loss to fellow Conference USA opponent Middle Tennessee, 4-0, San Francisco owns a 2-7 record. The Dons and Tops will meet for the first time on Sunday.

Similar to WKU, Pacific (2-3) will be playing three matches in the coming days as well. The Tigers are coming off a weekend of no play, but most recently played on Feb. 25, falling to UC Davis 5-2.

WKU senior Elpida Malamou continues her strong start in 2017 tallying an 8-0 singles record as she owns a pair of wins over two Power Five No. 1 singles players. The Greece native, counting back from last season, has now won 21-straight singles matches.

Second on the teams in wins is freshman Monica Malinen boasting a 6-2 record, and junior Violetta Shatalova has won four-straight matches.
