Meanwhile, the former Western Kentucky star ranked No. 8 among wideouts in the 60-yard shuttle, posting a time of 11.23 seconds during workouts at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.

Taylor ranked 19th among wideouts in the 20-yard shuttle (4.21 seconds), 21st in the 40-yard dash (4.50 seconds) and 28th in the vertical jump (33.5 inches).

Those performances came after he posted 13 repetitions of 225 pounds on the bench press Friday, which ranked No. 13 among wide receivers.

Taylor also participated in several pass-catching drills Saturday on the Indianapolis Colts’ home field.

Taylor’s former Hilltopper teammate Forrest Lamp made a splash with his performance in many of those same drills at the combine on Friday.

Lamp’s 34 bench press reps of 225 pounds Thursday ranked him in a tie for No. 2 among offensive linemen.

Then Friday, Lamp ranked No. 3 among offensive linemen in the broad jump (111.0 inches), No. 4 in the 40-yard dash (5.00), No. 5 in the three-cone drill (7.55 seconds), No. 7 in the 20-yard shuttle (4.62 seconds) and No. 15 in the vertical jump (27.5 inches).

Lamp, Taylor and several of their former WKU teammates will participate in the school’s pro day later this month at Houchens-Smith Stadium.
