Man exposed himself while driving near county school bus

A Warren County Public Schools bus driver told Bowling Green police Monday that she saw an Asian man exposing and fondling himself in a white van as he was driving near the bus on Dishman Lane near Nashville Road.
There was one elementary school-age child on the bus at the time of the incident, according to Bowling Green Police Department records. The bus driver said the child, who is related to her, did not see the man.

Police obtained information on the owner of the van. The investigation remains open.
Stolen firearm — A man in the 600 block of Cabell Drive told Bowling Green police Monday that someone stole a Taurus .45-caliber handgun and his blood pressure medication from his home.
The man awoke Tuesday morning and discovered his gun and medication were gone, according to BGPD records. Other valuables were left untouched.
Police noted that the lock on the door appeared to have been picked.
School bus wreck — A car and a school bus with 23 children on board collided Tuesday afternoon in Hart County.
The wreck occurred on Lawler Road in Munfordville when a Mitsubishi Galant driven by Erica Atwell, of Munfordville, and the Hart County School bus driven by Timothy Estes, of Canmer, collided head on.

The bus was traveling south on Lawler Road and approached a curve at a slow speed. The Galant was traveling north on Lawler Road and Atwell did not see the bus, resulting in the collision, according to a news release from the Hart County Sheriff’s Office.
No one was injured in the crash. The students were taken home by another bus.
