Russellville police charge Tennessee man with robbing Shell station

Russellville Police arrested an 18-year-old Tennessee man on an allegation of robbery.

Russellville Police were called at 10:55 p.m. Saturday to the Shell station on Ninth Street.

An employee told police she had been robbed and the suspect might have had a gun. The suspect fled the scene prior to officers arrival. 

Police later identified the suspected robber as Stephen (Sam) Hunter, of Hendersonville, Tenn., who turned himself in and was subsequently arrested. Hunter was lodged in the Logan County Detention Center early Sunday. He is charged with second-degree robbery, tampering with physical evidence and theft by unlawful taking over $500.
