After a pair of Conference USA sweeps over the weekend, Western Kentucky’s volleyball team returned to the rankings coming in at No. 25 in the most recent poll released on Monday. 

Over the weekend, the Lady Tops improved to 4-0 in C-USA with sweeps at Louisiana Tech and Middle Tennessee.

The Lady Toppers have now won seven-consecutive matches, with their last loss coming to now-ranked No. 21 Michigan State on Sept. 10.

A hot-hitting Lady Topper offense registered a .409 weekend hitting percentage, including a .500 outing at Middle Tennessee. 

WKU, which was receiving votes at the time, registered a season-low four attack errors against the Blue Raiders with 42 kills on 76 swings.

WKU is now 16-2 overall. The Lady Toppers visit Southern Miss on Thursday in Hattiesburg, Miss.
