A woman arrested Thursday on a murder charge had her bond set Friday morning at $1 million.

Mary Rebecca Thompson, 52, was charged after an apparent hours-long standoff with Kentucky State Police in Rockfield. She was booked into the Warren County Regional Jail in Bowling Green at about 8 p.m.

The murder charge stems from the June 17 shooting death of Dealynn O’Connor, 51, who was found dead inside her home at 1325 Hays Lodge Road in Smiths Grove. O’Connor had also the victim of an assault and kidnapping in Radcliff on Jan. 31, Radcliff Police Department Capt. Willie Wells told the Daily News last month.

State police learned Wednesday that Thompson was in a home in Rockfield, according to a news release from KSP. The release did not list the address or the times that the standoff began and ended.

Thompson had several active warrants from various police agencies on a range of charges, including first-degree fleeing or evading police, first-degree wanton endangerment, possession of a handgun by a convicted felon and probation violation.

“Law enforcement has been actively seeking Ms. Thompson for several weeks on unrelated charges,” Warren County Commonwealth’s Attorney Chris Cohron said Friday.

Thompson, wearing an orange jumpsuit and in handcuffs, appeared Friday morning in Warren District Court Judge Sam Potter’s courtroom with public advocate attorney Alyson McDavitt, who declined to comment afterward. A preliminary hearing is set for Tuesday in Potter’s courtroom.

Potter read Thompson her Miranda rights and commented on the multiple warrants for Thompson’s arrest before setting the bond at $1 million.

Thompson was booked in the Warren County Regional Jail three times in 2015, according to online jail records. In February, she was jailed for a day on charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon; for three days in July for a misdemeanor failure to appear; and three days again in December for failure to appear.

Thompson also was indicted multiple times in Warren County.

•In May, she was indicted for first-degree fleeing or evading police, first-degree wanton endangerment, possession of drug paraphernalia, speeding, reckless driving, failure to or improper signal, operating on a suspended or revoked license and first-degree persistent felony offender. Her bond was set at $10,000 cash.

•In June, she was indicted for first-degree bail jumping and first-degree persistent felony offender. She was given a $5,000 cash bond.

•In October, she was indicted for tampering with physical evidence, first-degree possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and second-degree persistent felony offender. She was given a notice to appear.

•In May 2015, she was indicted for possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of intoxicants and second-degree persistent felony offender.
