Warrant service leads to felony arrests

- Cash and suspected marijuana was seized during a house search Saturday night in Barren County.
While Barren County sheriff’s deputies were serving a warrant at 10:31 p.m. Saturday at 2096 Beckton Road, a subsequent search led to three people being arrested on felony drug charges.
While inside the home, deputies smelled the odor of marijuana and found a marijuana cigarette, according to a release from the sheriff’s office.
Deputies obtained a search warrant on the home and said they found about 8.5 pounds of marijuana, cash and drug paraphernalia.
Kenneth E. Wilson, 79, Rebecca S. Wilson, 53, and James T. Martin Jr., 55, all of Glasgow, were arrested and charged with trafficking in marijuana over 5 pounds and possession of marijuana and lodged in the Barren County Corrections Center, according to the release. Rebecca Wilson and Martin are additionally charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, according to online jail records.
All three were released Sunday on $5,000 cash bonds each.
