Campbellsville contingent with local ties earns Mid-South Conference academic honors

Several former area standouts were among a group of men’s and women’s track and field athletics named to the Academic All-Mid-South Conference Team on Thursday.
To be eligible for nomination by their school, athletes must maintain a minimum grade-point average of 3.25 on a 4.0 scale and must have attained at least sophomore academic status.
Among those on the Academic All-MSC men’s team are Campbellsville seniors Wade Harris (South Warren Class of 2012) and Aaron Johnson (Logan County Class of 2012), and Campbellsville sophomore Ross Allen (South Warren Class of 2014).
On the women’s side, Campbellsville senior Maggie Calvert (Allen County-Scottsville Class of 2012) was garnered academic all-conference honors.
