Man injured after plunging from downtown parking structure

A man jumped, was pushed or fell Tuesday night from the parking structure at College Street and Eighth Avenue, Bowling Green Police Department spokesman Officer Ronnie Ward said.

Police were called to the scene at 10:14 p.m. and found the man badly injured. Police are investigating the incident and believe he could have landed on a car below.

He was flown to TriStar Skyline Medical Center in Nashville. His condition was unknown to police Wednesday morning. Police declined to release the man’s name.

The incident remains under investigation.

Terroristic threatening — After a Tuesday investigation at the Barren County Trojan Academy in Glasgow, a student who used social media to make threatening statements was criminally charged, according to a news release from the Barren County Sheriff’s Office.

The threats were made against other students, Barren County Sheriff Kent Keen said. The school serves ninth-grade students.

One student was charged with second-degree terroristic threatening and third-degree terroristic threatening.

No other information was released. The names of juveniles charged with crimes are not public record unless a court decides to charge a juvenile as an adult.
