Hot Rods game suspended

One out from an official game, the Bowling Green Hot Rods’ series opener against Clinton (Iowa) was suspended due to weather with the Hot Rods leading 10-5 with two outs in the top of the fifth on Tuesday.
The game is scheduled to resume with the regularly scheduled game, which will now be seven innings, to follow.
Clinton led 3-0 after one inning on back-to-back homers from Dalton Kelly and James Alfonso, before Bowling Green scored 10 unanswered with five-run rallies in both the second and third innings.
The Hot Rods had 13 hits, including a season high five doubles. Brett Sullivan had three hits, two doubles, while Angel Moreno, Kevin Padlo, Brandon Lowe and Manny Sanchez had two RBIs each.
