Wedding bells (and a Springsteen cameo) for journalists Josh Rogin and Ali Weinberg

WASHINGTON – So very Washington: Two journalists got married on Saturday. So not D.C.: Rock stars attended their wedding.
There’s good reason for the atypical guest list at the wedding of Bloomberg columnist and CNN analyst Josh Rogin, 37, and ABC’s Ali Weinberg, 28 – the bride’s dad is Max Weinberg, the drummer for Bruce Springsteen’s E Street Band, so it’s just a family thing. The couple tied the knot in a ceremony at the historic Meridian House – a spot with special meaning, since they began dating soon after the then-pals attended the annual Meridian Ball there in 2013.
D.C. types like CNN’s Wolf Blitzer and ABC’s Jonathan Karl attended the wedding. And even though the musician presence was heavy – guests included The Boss himself, Steve Van Zandt and Nils Lofgren – it was Ali Weinberg’s own performance of Dusty Springfield’s “Son of A Preacher Man” that brought down the house, we’re told.
