Tigers’ Withrow among top 10 after Day 2 of M-SC women’s golf championship tournament

Campbellsville freshman Kylie Withrow (Barren County Class of 2015) forged a tie for 10th place following Tuesday’s second round of the Mid-South Conference women’s golf championship tournament at Bowling Green Country Club.

Withrow fired a second-round 77 after opening the tournament with an 81 on Monday. She’s currently at 14-over 158 for the Tigers.

Lindsey Wilson sophomore Shayna Cockrill (Allen County-Scottsville Class of 2014) is tied for 22nd in the tournament at 25-over with a two-day total of 83-86–169.

University of the Cumberlands holds a 21-stroke lead in team play at 608, with Campbellsville second with a 629. Lindsey Wilson (629) is fourth in the seven-team tournament, which concludes today.

Cumberlands also leads the men’s tournament at BGCC by 20 strokes with a combined 569. Lindsey Wilson (589) is second. The Mid-South men’s tournament will also conclude today.
