Arrests made; child found in home with meth

Six people were arrested and a child was taken for a medical exam after Kentucky State Police said they found an active meth lab in a Hart County home.
Troopers on Friday morning went to check on the welfare of a woman and her child in the 8500 block of Cub Run Highway.
Troopers said they found an active meth lab and an indoor marijuana grow, along with suspected methamphetamine and some firearms, according to a press release.
A 3-year-old boy was in the home at the time and was removed and taken to a hospital for an examination.
Six people, all of Munfordville, were arrested and lodged in the Hart County Jail and charged with the following charges:
Nicholas Meredith, 30: manufacturing methamphetamine, first-degree possession of a controlled substance (meth), fourth-degree controlled substance endangerment to a child; unlawful possession of a meth precursor.
Danielle Decker, 18: manufacturing methamphetamine, first-degree possession of a controlled substance (meth), fourth-degree controlled substance endangerment to a child; unlawful possession of a meth precursor.
Laura Bennett, 24: manufacturing methamphetamine, first-degree possession of a controlled substance (meth), fourth-degree controlled substance endangerment to a child; unlawful possession of a meth precursor.
Jacob Staples, 30: manufacturing methamphetamine, first-degree possession of a controlled substance (meth), fourth-degree controlled substance endangerment to a child; unlawful possession of a meth precursor, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
James Staples, 48: manufacturing methamphetamine.
Jeremiah Staples, 25; cultivating marijuana (five or more plants), possession of drug paraphernalia.
The investigation is still ongoing and being conducted by Trooper Justin Rountree. He was assisted on scene by Troopers Jonathan McChesney and Randy Chambers, KSP Drug Enforcement Detective Brad Harper, KSP Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Officer Nick Pruitt, and Hart County social services.
