South Warren grads Brown, Duncan meet again at Greenbrier Collegiate Invitational

Former South Warren standout golfers Jared Brown and Drake Duncan were reunited on the links this week during the Greenbrier Collegiate Invitational in White Sulphur Springs, W.Va.
Brown (South Warren Class of 2014) paced Eastern Kentucky to a second-place team finish by shooting a team-best 4-over-par 214 to finish tied for ninth as an individual. Brown’s final-round, 4-under-66 on Tuesday was the lowest round shot by an EKU golfer in the tournament on the par-70, 7,287-yard The Old White TPC Golf Course.
The Colonels finished with a combined 861, 15 strokes behind winner East Tennessee State (846). Western Kentucky (866) was third in the 17-team tournament.
Duncan (South Warren Class of 2013) carded the second-best individual score for Middle Tennessee with three-round 12-over-222. The Blue Raiders finished tied for 10th with an 881 team score.
MTSU returns to action Saturday in the Wolfpack Spring Open at Lonnie Poole Golf Course in Raleigh, N.C.
EKU is off until the Ohio Valley Conference Championship starting April 25 at Fighting Joe Cours at the Shoals in Muscle Shoals, Ala.
