The Bowling Green Police Department is investigating the loss of a wallet that was found and the contents fraudulently used.
On Dec. 1 a man told police he had been inside a business in the 1400 block of Campbell Lane and dropped his wallet. After searching the area he was not able to find it.
A short time later, the victim was contacted by his bank telling him someone used his card in an ATM just off Campbell Lane and again at an area grocery store. The bank prevented all but a small amount from being stolen, but the man had to replace all his documents.
Video surveillance shows a black female, wearing a red jacket and driving a tan Pontiac Grand Am attempting to use the card.
